Fits 92-99 Suburban K1500/2500 4wd.

"Front units are identical between 1500 and 2500. Rears are dimensionally same, and have very little difference in valving so I have combined the two applications. There have been multiple configurations including 1500 series with 8 lug wheels, and 2500's with 6 and 8 lug wheels. Since a Suburban tends to be quite heavy in the rear, I find it best to use the slightly heavier duty shock." - JK

Fits 2001-2010 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD 2wd and 4x4 trucks at std ride height OR with increased ride height from torsion bar adjustment or torsion bar key replacement.

My personal preference for smoother ride is the std yellow shocks. The 5100's are valved a bit more firmly to help with off road, large tires etc. -JK

Note: Some vendors sell Ford and Dodge application shocks for these vehicles which I do not recommend. These are the D146/D147 units which are purpose built for the application. Thanks- JK

These are the HD yellow units which in my experience provide the best handling, ride and control for both empty and loaded on road driving. Fits 2001-2010 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD 2wd and 4x4 trucks at std ride height OR with increased ride height from torsion bar adjustment or torsion bar key replacement provided the spacers noted below are added.

"I highly recommend the spacers for all installations as they cannot have a negative effect and tend to reduce stress on the lower bushings at full extension. For all applications, especially if you have raised the front end make a note in shipping instructions and for $5 we will include a pair of shaft spacers." -JK
