This kit contains 2ea 4' sections of 1/2" hose, 2 Brass 1/2" NPT to 1/2" push connect barb fittings, and special constant torque clamps. Kit is designed to mount my single or twin pumps on a typical pickup truck in any of the locations shown in my installation instructions. Med Duty Kodiak, Express vans, chassis cab pickups take same kit, but may require customization of hose lengths etc. If you would like the push connect fittings for the tank and vehicle line ends they are listed here separately.

This kit includes 4' of 5/8" hose for supply, 4' of 1/2" hose for discharge, 1/2" NPT x 5/8" and 1/2" push connect hose barb fitting, and 2 special constant torque clamps to mount my single or twin pumps in any of the locations shown in my installation instructions. This kit includes 5/8" supply and 1/2" discharge hose and fittings. This is preferred setup combined with billet pickup and tank bulkhead fitting.

These compact little pumps are just what is needed to keep a steady supply of low pressure fuel available at the inlet of your injection pump at all times. They are nearly silent in operation as well as being seal-less, brushless and leak proof. The centrifugal design eliminates the need to prefilter the fuel for the pump's sake, and will not generate wear particles as there is no metal to metal contact taking place. Flow across an inactive pump is virtually unrestricted and average life expectancy is 40,000+ hrs. Each pump produces approximately 4 psi and they can be easily compounded. A high flow pickup and supply line (available separately) is recommended for best results. Inlet and outlet ports are 1/2" NPT female. There is also an oring boss so that two pumps can be joined via thru bolts. All hardware is stainless steel and pump head is anodized aluminum. Backed by a 2yr warranty!

"Please note that this pump is a centrifugal design. It will not prime itself upon installation and requires a leak free system so as not to lose it's prime. If you do not understand this, your system is not leak free, or you are unwilling to make it leak free please DO NOT purchase this product. The best way to prime/bleed it is by applying light pressure to the tank with the filter bleeder open OR via suction from a hand vacuum pump (Mighty vac) or oil suction gun applied to the filter drain hose. Once this has been done start the engine with the pump off and run or drive for a bit then apply power. The 6.5 should run without an operating lift pump albeit with possibly reduced performance. If not the system has a leak." -JK

This is a special TCM file that has been proven to improve track times. We will be programming customer units for exchange, or we can often supply a good used core. It is in no way a custom tune. It is simply Allison programming that we have customized and found to work very well. Shift speed programming runs much like the Tow Haul mode on the factory TCM. Shifts are generally much firmer as the TCC remains locked during upshift and downshift operations. Easily swapped in a matter of minutes. Overdrive lockout will not function and 2001/2 trucks will likely not show the gear position highlight when shifted to OD on the selector. It will be in gear, the highlight will just go blank.

"This TCM begins service with a clean slate memory. It has no adaptive data and therefore will likely shift extremely aggressive until it adapts to your vehicle. Test Driver Pat McSwain (aka McRat) has reported consistent .15 to .20 second improvement in E.T. by simply swapping in this module. He keeps the Kennedy TCM out of service for daily driving and swaps in at the track. This keeps the TCM adaptives nice and crisp and prevents it from picking up any bad manners (lazy shifts) on the street. Brandon Meyers (aka BMDMAX) and myself use this same TCM day today on our 2002 trucks. I also prefer to use this TCM for Truck Pulling in my 2002" -JK

Billet Pickup Installation Instructions

This kit requires tank removal and is considered more of a max effort/race type mod. The deluxe kit is all that most anyone should need. Includes Kennedy Twin Pumps, Bracket, Lift Pump Control Harness, Plumbing Kit, and Billet Pickup. Note: Somewhere around 2009 model year the LMM tank sender assembly was changed. The billet pickup will not fit without customization.

Pump-Filter Installation Suggestions

Twin Kennedy lift pumps coupled together via thru-bolts and oring seal ready to install. Running as twin pumps will compound the delivery pressure putting you at approx 5-7 psi max. It's not so much pressure that we are after, it is volume at a given pressure. The KD twin pumps will keep up with about anything you can throw at them maintaining positive pressure at the inlet of the injection pump!
